Give yourself the gift of doula care for your birth. Numerous clinical studies have found that the presence of a doula at birth has overwhelmingly positive effects and improves outcomes.

Clinical studies show that having a doula for your birth:*

  • reduces the length of labor by 25%

  • reduces the use of pain medication by 30% and epidurals by 60%

  • reduces the need for obstetric interventions, like pitocin, forceps and vacuum extractor

  • reduces the incidence of cesarean section by 50%

Further research finds that mothers who have doulas for their births:*

  • are more satisfied with their birth experiences

  • adjust better to motherhood

  • experience less postpartum depression

  • have greater success with breastfeeding their new babies

  • are more satisfied with their partners after birth
